Hope is a powerful thing. It motivates action even when a person faces impossible or insurmountable challenges. Hope is something that has led some of the most influential people on this planet to discover and do things that mankind didn't think could be done.

These people believed and they hoped. From the first man on the moon to the 4 minute mile. From the airplane invention to defeating Hitler in World War 2. It all started with hope that something COULD be done.

Each of us have trials and challenges in our lives that we hope to overcome. This hope has the potential to be channeled into faith in God and Jesus Christ. When we choose to channel this hope into faith, something beautiful happens in our souls.

The impossible suddenly becomes possible. The insurmountable becomes surmountable. Dreams become reality. Every person reading this now is going through some trial that is HARD. Think about it! What is your "everest" right now? Do you have hope and faith that God is facing it with you? To have hope is a choice we have to make, especially when our trial is because of another person's doing.

Viktor Frankl endured the sufferings of the concentration camps in Nazi Germany. He said that "the one thing you can't take away from me is the way I choose to respond to what you do to me. The last of one's freedoms is to choose one's attitude in any given circumstance."

I invite you to turn to God in prayer that He can give you the strength, stamina, and hope to face your trials. We are only given one life. Each life is filled with ups and downs. These experiences have the potential to destroy us or strengthen us. It is our choice if we will tackle them with the Lords help or decide we want to do it on our own. Choose hope in Christ and I promise you can never go wrong.

Challenge: Write down a current trial you are facing. Next to it write a list of what you hope for regarding that trial. Pray over that list and request the Lord's help to face the trial and maintain a strong hope.
